Blox Fruits Tier List 2026: Best Fruits for PvP, Farming, Sea Events, and Beginners

If you’re trying to figure out which Blox Fruit is actually worth using in 2026, the answer depends heavily on what you’re doing. A fruit that dominates PvP can be mediocre for farming, while something like Buddha can turn repetitive grinding into a much less painful job without being the first thing I’d pick for a serious player fight.

That distinction matters because Blox Fruits currently has 41 fruits:

  • 21 Natural
  • 11 Elemental
  • 9 Beast

Mutations exist too, but they aren’t included in this ranking.

This is my overall Blox Fruits tier list for 2026, followed by separate rankings for farming, Sea Events, bosses and raids, PvP, and early-game progression.

Blox Fruits Tier List 2026

TierFruits
S-TierDragon, Dough, Tiger, Gas, Lightning, Kitsune, Buddha
A-TierControl, Dark, Yeti, Mammoth, T-Rex, Spirit, Venom, Blizzard, Magma, Portal, Ice, Shadow
B-TierPhoenix, Quake, Spider, Sand, Flame, Light, Diamond, Sound, Gravity, Pain, Ghost, Eagle
C-TierLove, Creation, Rubber, Smoke, Blade
D-TierBomb, Spike, Spring, Spin, Rocket

One important warning before we get into the details: this is an overall ranking, not a universal “best fruit for everything” list.

Buddha being S-Tier doesn’t make it the best PvP fruit. Portal sitting in A-Tier doesn’t suddenly make it a farming monster. Every fruit has situations where it performs better or worse, and that’s why the specialized rankings below are just as important as the main tier list.

How This Blox Fruits Tier List Was Ranked

There isn’t one stat that decides whether a fruit deserves a high spot.

I looked at how each fruit performs across several parts of the game, including:

  • PvP performance
  • Mob farming
  • Sea Events
  • Boss fights
  • Raids
  • Mobility
  • Survivability and extra health-related benefits
  • Crowd control
  • Ease of use
  • Whether you can build an effective setup around it

I also took the Summer PvP balance changes announced on August 7, 2026 into account. The update buffed fruits including Dough, Dark, Tiger, Yeti, Phoenix, Quake, Spider, Ice, and Flame, while Kitsune, Lightning, Control, Pain, and others received nerfs or other adjustments.

I deliberately left price and trading demand out of the equation. This list is about using fruits, not flipping them for profit. A fruit being expensive doesn’t automatically make it better, and Magma is a perfect example of a relatively affordable fruit that can outperform much pricier choices in the right activity.

S-Tier Blox Fruits

Dragon

Best for: PvP, grinding, bosses, Sea Events, general endgame

Dragon is my pick for the best overall Blox Fruit right now because its transformations cover an absurd number of useful roles at once. You get damage, defense, mobility, and huge AoE without having to sacrifice one completely for another.

The defensive numbers are a big part of the reason.

In Hybrid Form, Dragon grants 20% damage reduction against players and 34% against NPCs. Full Dragon Form takes that much further with 60% damage reduction, flight, and immunity to stuns.

The [V] Imperial Evolution transformation becomes available at 350 Mastery.

Dragon’s transformation system also revolves around a two-stage Fury Meter. The first meter unlocks Hybrid Form. The second is filled by dealing damage and eventually gives access to the full Dragon Form. The meter doesn’t constantly drain simply because you’re transformed, although taking a hit to the head drains it at twice the normal rate.

Put all of that together and Dragon has very few obvious weaknesses for general play. It’s durable enough to survive, mobile enough to move around efficiently, and capable of throwing out the kind of AoE you want for grinding, raids, Sea Events, and large PvP encounters.

Buddha

Best for: Grinding, raids, leveling, melee and sword builds

Buddha earns S-Tier for a very different reason.

Its transformation makes melee and sword farming ridiculously efficient.

Unawakened Buddha provides 35% damage reduction against players and 46.4% against NPCs while transformed. Awakening [Z] Shift increases that to 45% against players and 54.6% against NPCs.

Then there’s the part that makes grinders love this fruit: the M1 range.

Melee and sword attacks reach roughly 5x their normal range with V1 and 8x with awakened V2.

Awakened Buddha also gains the Seismic Jump passive. Jumping creates an AoE shockwave that deals minor damage, stuns enemies, breaks Instinct, and has a two-second cooldown. The awakened transformation additionally places the player’s hitbox above the water, allowing you to effectively walk across the sea unless something forces you underwater.

Fully awakening Buddha requires 14,500 Fragments, but there’s a reason many players don’t bother doing everything immediately. [Z] Shift costs just 500 Fragments, and that single awakening already supplies the major defensive and M1-range advantages that make Buddha so strong for grinding.

It isn’t my first choice for PvP. For leveling, mastery farming, raids, and repetitive PvE, though, the combination of up to 45% PvP damage reduction and 8x M1 range is incredibly hard to beat.

Kitsune

Best for: PvP, mobility, grinding

Kitsune is all about managing its Tails Meter, and those tails aren’t just a gateway to its transformation.

The fruit can build up to three tails. Passive generation takes about 1 minute and 40 seconds per tail, meaning it takes roughly 5 minutes to reach maximum without speeding things up through combat.

At two tails, Kitsune gets a 100% movement-speed increase, effectively doubling its speed. Three tails add extra blue-flame damage over time to its M1 attacks and [F].

The [V] Transformation unlocks at 300 Mastery and consumes 30% of the visible Tails Meter. Once transformed, Kitsune gains:

  • 20% damage reduction
  • Stronger attacks
  • Shorter cooldowns
  • Increased movement speed
  • Double normal jump height
  • Longer dashes
  • The ability to run across water while moving

The cooldown reductions are especially noticeable. Transformed [Z] drops from 9 to 6.75 seconds, [X] from 12 to 9 seconds, and [C] from 15 to 11.25 seconds.

You do need to keep an eye on that meter, but the combination of speed, mobility, and powerful M1 attacks keeps Kitsune firmly in S-Tier for me.

Lightning

Best for: PvP, Sea Events, mobility, grinding

Lightning is one of the strongest Elemental choices on this list because almost every part of its kit gives you something useful: stuns, AoE, mobility, or some combination of all three.

Take [Z] Lightning Orb. Tapping it fires a normal orb. Hold it for at least 0.5 seconds and it becomes a pulling electric sphere. Hold it for at least 1.5 seconds and you summon an electric dragon. The upgraded version of that final attack can grab a player and hit them with a five-hit combo.

[X] Thunderstorm unlocks at 90 Mastery and continuously strikes enemies beneath its cloud. After its corresponding upgrade, throwing a tapped Lightning Orb into the cloud extends Thunderstorm by around 5 seconds per orb.

Then there’s [V] Thunderball Destruction, which can be charged up to four times for increased damage and a larger hitbox.

Lightning doesn’t leave mobility until the end of the progression tree, either. [F] Electric Flash unlocks at just 30 Mastery, providing a fast movement option that damages and briefly stuns enemies along its path.

With stuns, AoE, mobility, and Elemental immunity all packed together, Lightning is one of the most flexible fruits available.

Gas

Best for: PvP, grinding, bosses, Sea Events

Gas gets its S-Tier spot largely because Gas Knight solves several problems that normally come with using a large transformation fruit.

[V] Vapor Condensation unlocks at 300 Mastery and transforms the player into Gas Knight. During the transformation, Gas receives:

  • 50% damage reduction
  • 33% increased speed
  • 2x jump height
  • 2x dash distance
  • 2x movement speed
  • The ability to stand and walk on water

The transformed moveset also works particularly well against large targets.

[C] Smog Demons, which unlocks at 200 Mastery, sends multiple demons toward the cursor. Holding the ability produces additional demons, while targets struck by it take damage over time.

Gas also retains Elemental Reflex while transformed, which is an unusual advantage for a transformation fruit. Add its short cooldowns, M1 attacks, large AoE, and ability to move across water, and you’ve got a fruit that works surprisingly well for grinding and Sea Events without giving up its PvP strength.

Tiger

Best for: PvP, mobility, aggressive play

Tiger is designed around pressure. The longer you can stay aggressive, the more threatening the fruit becomes.

Its regular transformed state already provides 20% damage reduction, roughly 80% additional movement speed, and 33% cooldown reduction. Jumping and dashing are improved too.

There is a catch: while transformed, you lose access to fighting styles, swords, and guns.

Tiger also has a Fire Meter to manage. Holding [C] Afterimage Assault requires 75% Fire Meter, while reaching 100% lets you activate Blazing Form.

Blazing Form lasts for up to 60 seconds and reduces ability cooldowns by 50% compared with base form.

And then comes the bill.

Leaving Blazing Form triggers Overheat, which lasts for half the amount of time you spent in Blazing Form. Stay transformed for 30 seconds and you’ll be dealing with 15 seconds of Overheat afterward.

That resource management keeps Tiger from being completely brainless, but its speed and offensive pressure make it one of my favorite PvP options.

Dough

Best for: PvP, combos, raids

Awakened Dough is one of those fruits that can make a PvP opponent question their life choices.

Its moves offer strong stuns, large hitboxes, Instinct-breaking attacks, and multiple ways to keep an opponent locked down.

[V] Dough Fist Fusillade is a good example. Fully using the barrage can hold an opponent for around 5 seconds, while the Dough player can slightly reposition the trapped target.

[X] Pastry River has separate ground and air versions. The aerial version grabs the target, drags them through a barrage, and then slams them into the ground.

The downside is the investment.

Fully awakening Dough costs 18,500 Fragments, making it one of the most expensive fruits to awaken. Its awakened [F] Scorching Donut costs 2,000 Fragments, but it can travel across water and lava, climb walls, and damage enemies it touches.

For PvP, that investment makes sense. Once awakened, Dough has enough stun potential and combo extensions to keep an opponent under pressure for several seconds.

That’s S-Tier territory.

Best Blox Fruits for Farming

Farming has a much simpler goal: kill mobs quickly, collect the same XP, and spend as little time doing the boring part as possible.

For that job, my ranking looks like this:

RankFruitWhy it’s good for farming
1BuddhaHuge range, survivability, excellent melee and sword farming
2BlizzardMassive AoE and continuous damage
3T-RexBig M1s, AoE, and transformation
4DragonLarge AoE and excellent endgame damage
5GasHuge AoE and persistent damage
6MagmaHigh damage and excellent area control
7LightningLarge AoE with plenty of mobility
8LightExcellent First Sea farming
9KitsuneFast, mobile, and easy to use
10MammothDurable transformation with good AoE

Buddha is the clear choice for straightforward leveling. Community discussions on Reddit frequently point to it as one of the easiest fruits for farming, while Blizzard and T-Rex also get plenty of praise.

The reason is simple: Buddha turns the repetitive part of Blox Fruits into a much more efficient routine.

Best Blox Fruits for Sea Events

Sea Events change what you want from a fruit.

Large targets make hitboxes and ranged attacks more valuable, while damage-over-time effects become particularly nasty when the enemy is big enough to keep standing in them.

My picks are:

  1. Magma
  2. Lightning
  3. Dragon
  4. Gas
  5. Blizzard
  6. Mammoth
  7. Buddha

Magma takes first place, especially once awakened.

Its lingering magma pools keep ticking against large targets, producing huge amounts of sustained damage. [Z] Magma Shower costs only 500 Fragments to unlock and, when aimed correctly, can deal nearly as much damage as [V] Volcanic Storm.

The projectiles also have extreme range and don’t despawn even when they’re more than 2,500 meters away.

Magma gets even more useful at sea once you’ve awakened at least one move because that unlocks Magmatic Feet, allowing the player to walk on water.

A complete awakening costs 14,500 Fragments.

Best Blox Fruits for Bosses and Raids

Boss farming isn’t exactly the same as clearing ordinary mobs. You’re dealing with tougher targets and need enough sustained damage and survivability to stay in the fight while chasing rewards.

My top choices for bosses and raids are:

  • Buddha
  • Magma
  • Dragon
  • Gas
  • Dough
  • Blizzard
  • Venom
  • T-Rex
  • Lightning
  • Mammoth

Buddha is probably the most obvious choice for raids because its combination of survivability and enormous attack range is exactly what the activity rewards.

Magma, Gas, and Venom are also particularly strong alternatives.

Best Blox Fruits for PvP

This is where the overall tier list changes the most.

For PvP, my current top 10 are:

RankFruitWhy it works
1DoughExceptional stuns and combo chains, further improved by the Summer update
2TigerExtreme pressure, mobility, Blazing Form healing, transformation
3DragonHuge AoE, durability, mobility, powerful transformation
4ControlExcellent combo and positioning potential
5DarkLarge stuns and major new awakened buffs
6LightningGreat stuns, mobility, range, and flexible builds
7GasPersistent damage and excellent area control
8KitsuneExcellent mobility and pressure despite recent nerfs
9IceReliable stuns with substantially improved awakened abilities
10ShadowBig burst damage and dangerous single-target pressure

For me, Dough is currently the best PvP fruit.

The Summer update directly improved the parts of its awakened kit that were already dangerous, making its stun and combo game even harder to deal with. Current community PvP discussions also frequently bring up Control, Lightning, Kitsune, Portal, and other high-control fruits when talking about strong PvP options.

Best Blox Fruits for Beginners

New players don’t need to chase something expensive like Dragon or Kitsune to progress efficiently.

For the First Sea, cheaper fruits can actually make more sense because they tend to offer some combination of:

  • Low Mastery requirements
  • Elemental immunity
  • Straightforward attacks
  • Useful movement abilities
  • Easy farming

If I’m looking at the game from a new player’s perspective, these are the fruits I’d prioritize.

Light

Light is my number-one First Sea recommendation.

It costs 650,000 Money, doesn’t require especially high Mastery to get going, and comes with its own Light Spear M1 attack. Because the spear scales from the Blox Fruit stat, you don’t have to spend points on Sword just to make its basic attack useful.

Its Elemental Reflex also protects the player from physical attacks by eligible lower-level NPCs, making early farming safer.

Then there’s [F] Light Flight, one of the fastest movement abilities available. The amount of time it saves while traveling between First Sea islands adds up quickly.

For someone who mainly wants smooth leveling and fast travel, Light is the first fruit I’d look for.

Ice

Ice costs just 350,000 Money, making it another excellent beginner option.

Like Light, it comes with an M1 attack built into the fruit itself. Ice Trident scales from the Blox Fruit stat rather than Sword, so new players don’t have to spread their stats around.

Ice is especially friendly to beginners because its moves unlock at very low Mastery levels:

  • [Z] Ice Spears: 1 Mastery
  • [X] Ice Surge: 25 Mastery
  • [C] Ice Bird: 50 Mastery
  • [V] Glacial Epoch: 100 Mastery

Ice Bird freezes enemies for roughly 1.5 seconds. Glacial Epoch creates a large AoE freeze that prevents enemies from attacking, dashing, or jumping for two seconds.

Ice can also walk across water without needing an awakening.

Combine that with Elemental Reflex and its collection of stuns, and Ice works for farming, travel, bosses, and even getting a feel for basic PvP combos.

Flame

Flame costs only 250,000 Money, making it the cheapest Uncommon fruit.

That’s a pretty good deal considering it provides Elemental Reflex, AoE attacks, and flight.

Its abilities also become available quickly:

  • [Z] Fire Bullets: 1 Mastery
  • [F] Fire Flight: 10 Mastery
  • [X] Burning Blast: 25 Mastery
  • [C] Fire Column: 50 Mastery
  • [V] Flame Destroyer: 100 Mastery

Every offensive ability can hit multiple enemies, which makes Flame particularly convenient when you’re clearing groups of NPCs.

It doesn’t become useless once you leave the First Sea, either. Flame can be fully awakened for 14,500 Fragments, gaining stronger AoE attacks and lingering fire effects that continue dealing damage for around five seconds.

Smoke

If your priority is spending as little Money as possible, Smoke is the obvious candidate.

It costs just 100,000 Money and is currently the cheapest Elemental fruit.

It also has the lowest Mastery requirements for unlocking its entire moveset:

  • [Z] Smoke Slam: 1 Mastery
  • [F] Smoke Bomber: 10 Mastery
  • [X] Smoke Blast: 20 Mastery
  • [C] Smoke Liberation: 50 Mastery

[F] Smoke Bomber is especially useful for beginners because it lets you fly while dropping explosives below you.

The move can stay active indefinitely as long as you aren’t interrupted. That means a new player can attack certain NPCs and bosses while staying outside their normal reach.

Smoke eventually gets left behind by similar fruits once you reach the Second Sea, but for early progression, its Common rarity undersells how useful it can be.

Magma

Once basic First Sea progression is no longer a struggle, Magma is one of the fruits I’d start hunting for.

It costs 960,000 Money and combines Elemental Reflex with some of the strongest sustained damage available from a relatively accessible fruit.

Its attacks leave magma pools on the ground, letting large or stationary enemies take repeated tick damage. That’s particularly useful against bosses and later becomes even more valuable during Sea Events.

Magma really starts showing its value in the Second Sea after awakening.

Awakening at least one move unlocks the ability to walk across water, while additional awakenings provide stronger attacks and more mobility. That’s what makes Magma such a strong bridge between ordinary leveling and tougher content such as bosses, Sea Beasts, Ship Raids, and other Sea Events.

Buddha

Eventually, Buddha becomes the easiest recommendation for serious progression.

The fruit costs 1,200,000 Money, and its [Z] Transform becomes available at just 1 Mastery.

Once transformed, Buddha massively expands the hitbox range of melee and sword M1 attacks. Instead of constantly repositioning yourself to hit every nearby NPC, you can clear groups far more easily.

Awakened [Z] Shift makes the fruit even stronger for progression. It costs only 500 Fragments to awaken and provides 45% damage reduction against players, increased M1 range, and enough size for the player to stand on the sea floor without normally taking water damage.

You can also continue using fighting styles and swords while transformed.

That’s why Buddha becomes such a dominant choice in the Second and Third Seas. If the only thing I cared about was leveling quickly, grinding Mastery, or completing raids, I’d move to Buddha as soon as it became practical.

And honestly, once you’ve experienced that M1 range, going back is rough.
