Upcoming PvP Tuning – September 19, WoW Hotfixes – September 15, 2023
Exciting PvP Adjustments Coming Soon – September 19, 2023
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the Player versus Player experience, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming tuning adjustments for PvP activities, set to take effect during the scheduled weekly maintenance on September 19 in this region.
Player versus Player
Evoker
- Disintegrate damage will receive a significant 33% boost in PvP combat (previously 20%).
- Developers’ notes: We have noticed that Devastation’s killing power outside of cooldowns is not as high as we would like. To address this, we are further increasing the damage of Disintegrate in PvP. In future patches, we plan to continue this effort by redistributing damage from Dragonrage to other areas.
Priest
- Discipline
- Penance healing will be boosted by an impressive 35% in PvP combat (previously 15%).
Shaman
- Elemental
- Volcanic Surge will now increase the damage of Lava Burst by 45% (previously 55%) and Lightning Bolt / Chain Lightning by 50% (previously 35%).
- Restoration
- Riptide healing will receive a substantial 25% increase in PvP Combat (previously 10%).
- Healing Stream Totem healing will be boosted by 30% in PvP Combat (previously 20%).
Warlock
- Affliction
- Unstable Affliction’s backlash damage will be increased by 35%.
WoW Hotfixes – September 15, 2023
Dragon Racing
- Adjusted Gold and Silver times for the Flashfrost Flyover Reverse Challenge race. These times were mistakenly set too high.
Professions
- Engineering
- Engineers can now purchase Sprocket Containers from Hobart Grapplehammer in Legion Dalaran for 50 Leystone and 10 Felslate each.
Rewards
- Fixed a bug that caused Zaqali Elders’ loot to drop at a lower item level than intended.
WoW Classic Era
- [With Realm Restarts] Fixed a bug affecting bonus Honor awarded for Alterac Valley.
- Completing “Fish in a Bucket” will no longer reward gold.
- Developers’ notes: This change was originally implemented in patch 2.0.10 and has proven to be effective in Classic Era/Hardcore. The original quest provided an uncontested, single-faction, infinitely repeatable, low-risk gold reward, which does not align with the nature of the rest of the game.
